Highly Cited Researchers 2015

Michael Wagner has earned the 2015 Thompson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers award by being among the top 1% most cited microbiologists in the world.  Michael, who was also on the list in 2014,  is the only Austrian microbiologist who earned this distinction. In total, 20 researchers with a primary or secondary affiliation with an Austrian Research Institution are included in the 2015 compilation. In total, around 3,000 scientists from across 21 main fields of science and the social sciences were listed.
